Dehesa Method Sports Academy (DMSA) for grades TK–6 and Method Summit Academy (MSA) for grades 7–12 are tuition-free public schools designed specifically for student-athletes in the San Diego area. Students attend school in person Monday through Thursday at our El Cajon (Dehesa area) campus, where they receive small group academic instruction in the classroom and personalized, sport-specific training on the field or court. Fridays are designated as online learning days, providing flexibility for travel, competitions, and additional training commitments.

Current Waitlist and Online Options (2025-26)
The good news? DMSA and MSA are popular. Really popular, in fact. The bad news? We are at capacity for the 25-26 school year. However, we have waitlist and online options, including:

Option 1: DMSA Online or in-person academics (grades K-6)
Students split their day between academics and athletics. For the academic portion, they work independently either from home or in a classroom at Dehesa Elementary School. The other half of the day is dedicated to athletic training at designated facilities, with transportation provided between the school and training locations.
Students complete their coursework online through the Smartfox Learning Management System and receive ongoing support from a dedicated Method Schools homeroom teacher. They also participate in one-on-one homeroom meetings and live virtual instructional classes.
